The northern part of Vietnam, including Hanoi and Halong Bay, can be cool but not too cold, with temperatures ranging from 19°C (66°F) to 27°C (81°F).

In central Vietnam, which includes cities such as Hue, Da Nang and Hoi An, temperatures range from 22°C (72°F) to 28°C (82°F), making it milder and more pleasant.

The southern part of Vietnam, including Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta, also enjoys pleasant temperatures ranging from 24°C (75°F) to 31°C (88°F).

It's also worth noting that November is much better for beach holidays compared to the rainy season. While in the north of the country, the water can be slightly cool due to the end of the summer heatwave, the central and southern coastal areas are swimmable, making them excellent destinations for beach holidays at this time of year.

With the arrival of the dry season, the weather in Vietnam in November naturally experiences a decrease in rainfall.

November marks the end of the rainy season in the country's north. Hanoi, for example, usually receives an average of 60-70 mm of rain (about 2-3 inches) in this month.

In central Vietnam, unlike in the south and north, heavy rains can still fall in November. In Da Nang and Hoi An, rainfall can reach around 400 mm (16 inches).

The southern region also receives less rainfall in November. Ho Chi Minh City, for example, usually averages about 100 mm (about 4 inches) of rainfall this month. Phu Quoc Island, in the south of the country, may receive a similar amount of rainfall or slightly more.
